Tired of ballet flats, skimmers, and tennis shoes. Need some new suggestions.?

OK, I am a college student who is looking for some women's shoes that are stylish, yet are comfortable enough to walk around campus in. I am tired of the whole ballet flats and skimmers trend, and I am not too keen on athletic shoes. Do you have any suggestions on what type of shoes I should look at?

Good shoes to wear during pregnancy?

I am 28 weeks pregnant and have had a very hard time with my swollen ankles no matter what I do. I do everything the doctor says to do to try and prevent them and keep them from getting so bad. What are the dangers of high heels? How true are they?

I wear 3″+ heels daily and my mom keeps getting on my case about it because she says they'll ruin my back, knees, feet, etc. I'm wondering what exactly these problems are, how are they caused, can they be fixed, and are they really that common, or is my mom being a paranoid rehab nurse.
